Beginning in 2002 NAREC began a series of monthly conference calls to discuss current hot topics within each of the committees. These calls are open to all members and last an average of one hour. The topics are announced three weeks in advance, and the committees rotate their sponsorship of the call. The call format provides for an expert to state the issue and their views. This is then followed by an open discussion on the topic. All members are strongly encouraged to participate.
