Committees


The Financial Management Committee provides a forum for Association members who are interested in improving the fiscal operations of their companies. The Committee is responsible for the presentation of information to members in the areas of management, accounting, operations, administration, and human resources and for the exchange of such information between members of the Association.

 

The Committee pursues topics which impact all aspects of management accounting related to the real estate industry. The Committee presents topics at the Fall Financial Management Conference and the Annual Conference such as cash flow forecasting and management, software alternatives, risk management, lease transaction analysis, organizational restructuring, financial workouts and cost controls. In addition, the Committee conducts meetings during the year to discuss common problems and to propose and evaluate topics to present at the Fall and Annual Conferences.
